Webinars: Do You Have What They Want?
When people sign up to attend a Webinar, they hope to get something out of it. Typically, knowledge is at the top of the list. Most people hope to leave a webinar experience having learned something new they did not know prior to attending.
Therefore, it is important to do plenty of research and really know your stuff prior to hosting your webinar. Whatever you are ultimately trying to sell, look and see what competitors are offering and then do more. Take it to the next level. Make what you are offering special so it stands out from the crowd. If you appear to offer something new and different, they will come.
In order to pass on knowledge to others, you must first be knowledgeable yourself. Formulate a plan and then delve into it to find out more. Talk to others, read, attend other Teleseminars and webinars and see what’s already out there. Then do it better. Draw up a plan like you did for your business, but this time for your webinar.
Once you think you have a desirable product, test it out on people and see what they really think. Listen to observations, suggestions and critiques. Make changes where necessary and take your presentation to the next level, knowing it is tried and true on a real audience, so once you go live, you should be feeling ultra confident you have what they want.
Be sure your product is unique in some way. Maybe others offer the same thing, but your presentation is so much different it seems like you are selling apples while your competitor is selling oranges. Focus, stay on track and don’t drone on too long. Pause for question and answer sessions. Maximize your ability to use visual aids to draw people in and make your presentation that much more interesting. Utilize all the tools available to your best benefit to ensure you give your audience what it wants and keep them on board.
