Teleseminars: Reaching And Teaching Your Market
Your company needs a boost, so what do you do? You could offer a Teleseminar” rel=”tag”>teleseminar to draw people to your company and teach them about your business. A teleseminar is a live or recorded seminar over the phone that provides potential customers or clients information.
Reaching the right market and teaching them about your product can be much easier than you think. Here are a few ways to make sure you have as many callers as possible in your targeted audience attending your teleseminar:
Promotion – You need to target your audience to make sure they are aware of your planned teleseminar. You can promote via an email list and send a mass email announcing your teleseminar or you could advertise via social media. Twitter, Facebook, and Myspace are perfect places to make this announcement. Be sure you announce your teleseminar to a market that fits into what you are selling; you don’t want to spam a ton of people who have no interest.
Free is Better – Offer the teleseminar free. There are paid teleseminars, but offering something of value free is a sure bet to get people to hear what you have to say.
Keeping Them on the Line – Once you have your targeted audience, make sure you acknowledge them as they come on the line. Not only will they feel like they matter, but also they will be more willing to stay on the line to hear what you have to say.
Keep it Simple – Don’t fill up your presentation with a ton of business jargon; keep it simple and to the point. Present your product or service and then offer a way for the callers to take action at the end of the call to purchase it.
Follow-up – Once your teleseminar has ended, send out an email to all of those who attended to thank them for their time and remind them how to purchase your service or product. Also, provide a link to a recording of the teleseminar for those who could not attend so they don’t miss out.
