Getting The Most From Your Webinar
You’ve decided to take the plunge and hold a Webinar. Good for you- webinars are an excellent way to share information about your products and services to a large number of people at one time. Follow these suggestions to help you get the most from your webinar.
• Prepare carefully. You can’t ever be sure how much audience participation you will get in a webinar, so keep your self safe and prepare plenty of material. Work up a strong outline so you stay on track. With each major point, you can have detailed information you can add or leave out as time allows.
• Use a study guide. By having a study guide available prior to the webinar, you give your audience a taste of what’s to come as well as time to consider any questions they might have.
• Provide a way for your participants to ask questions prior to the webinar. Use a form on your squeeze page so your audience can submit questions prior to the event. Then create your content around the most popular questions to be sure you are giving the people what they want most.
• Require attendees to register with a double opt-in. This way you have their email address to add to your list. Double opt-in means they will need to confirm through their email. It allows you to email them in the future without worrying about being labeled a spammer.
• Add a guest or two to your webinar. Your guest can be an expert in the industry or it can be someone who has used your products or services and is willing to provide a testimonial. Adding guests to your webinar adds to the value and increases audience participation.
Taking the time to prepare for your webinar is the best way to get the most out of it- and to insure your audience will as well.
