Exceeding Their Webinar Expectations (Go Above & Beyond)
It’s easier than you think to wow Webinar attendees. Why you ask? Because so many other webinar hosts don’t. The bar is unfortunately pretty low. Even so, you should always strive, setting your goals high.
Webinars are a wonder of a technological advance, but not everyone takes time to learn how to maximize the potential of the webinar. The perfect tool is in your hands to communicate in a comfortable setting. Each person is participating from their own turf - possibly in their pajamas after all. All you have to do is bring something interesting to the table. Better yet, something really interesting.
Now it doesn’t have to be Earth shattering, just captivating. Hold our attention and don’t let it go once you have it. Make use of both ways to of communicating - visually and verbally. Incorporate photos, illustrations, charts, diagrams - anything you need to better illustrate your point and stimulate people. visual aids are especially good when you have to go over rather tedious parts of a speech, to alleviate any monotony. Believe it or not, many people get lazy with the visuals and treat the webinar as if it is just a Teleseminar without visual capabilities. This really sells an excellent opportunity short.
As far as the content of the webinar, shoot for something that hasn’t been done before. If it has been talked about, talk about the topic in an entirely new way. Create interest. Shock and surprise them. Share personal stories to make your webinar unique and special. Stand out from the crowd and raise the bar.
Bring in experts or authorities to speak or give testimonials. Share information or tips that are sure to be immensely helpful to the participants. Take care not to bore your audience. Teach the participants something they didn’t know prior to attending the webinar, so they leave feeling their life has been enhanced by attending.
